Install Google Drive MCP for Cursor

Cursor reads ~/.cursor/mcp.json. A project can also commit .cursor/mcp.json.

Needs Cursor or VS Code installed on this device. The button opens the app and asks you to confirm before it adds the server.

  1. Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json on macOS, %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\mcp.json on Windows, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json on Linux.

  2. Paste the JSON config below.

  3. Replace placeholder secrets, then restart the client if it does not reload on its own.

~/.cursor/mcp.json
{  "mcpServers": {    "a1-x-tech-mcp-google-drive": {      "command": "npx",      "args": [        "-y",        "@a1-x-tech/mcp-google-drive@1.1.2"      ],      "env": {        "GOOGLE_DRIVE_CLIENT_ID": "",        "GOOGLE_DRIVE_CLIENT_SECRET": "YOUR_GOOGLE_DRIVE_CLIENT_SECRET",        "GOOGLE_DRIVE_REFRESH_TOKEN": "YOUR_GOOGLE_DRIVE_REFRESH_TOKEN",        "GOOGLE_DRIVE_ACCESS_TOKEN": "YOUR_GOOGLE_DRIVE_ACCESS_TOKEN",        "GOOGLE_DRIVE_OAUTH_PORT": "",        "GOOGLE_DRIVE_API_BASE": "https://www.googleapis.com",        "GOOGLE_DRIVE_TIMEOUT_MS": "60000",        "GOOGLE_DRIVE_MAX_RETRIES": "3"      }    }  }}
