Install HISTOR — MCP tool-definition transparency log for Cursor

Cursor reads ~/.cursor/mcp.json. A project can also commit .cursor/mcp.json.

  1. Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json on macOS, %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\mcp.json on Windows, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json on Linux.

  2. Paste the JSON config below.

  3. Replace placeholder secrets, then restart the client if it does not reload on its own.

~/.cursor/mcp.json
{  "mcpServers": {    "alexar76-histor": {      "command": "uvx",      "args": [        "aimarket-histor"      ],      "env": {        "HISTOR_MCP_REMOTE": ""      }    }  }}
