Install Docmost (self-hosted) for Cursor

Cursor reads ~/.cursor/mcp.json. A project can also commit .cursor/mcp.json.

  1. Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json on macOS, %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\mcp.json on Windows, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json on Linux.

  2. Paste the JSON config below.

  3. Replace placeholder secrets, then restart the client if it does not reload on its own.

~/.cursor/mcp.json
{  "mcpServers": {    "bbik52-docmost-mcp-remote": {      "command": "docker",      "args": [        "run",        "-i",        "--rm",        "ghcr.io/bbik52/docmost-mcp-remote:1.2.3"      ],      "env": {        "PUBLIC_URL": "http://localhost:8000",        "DOCMOST_URL": "",        "DATABASE_URL": "YOUR_DATABASE_URL",        "SECRET_KEY": "YOUR_SECRET_KEY"      }    }  }}
