Install GSC Magic for Cursor

Cursor reads ~/.cursor/mcp.json. A project can also commit .cursor/mcp.json.

Needs Cursor or VS Code installed on this device. The button opens the app and asks you to confirm before it adds the server.

  1. Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json on macOS, %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\mcp.json on Windows, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json on Linux.

  2. Paste the JSON config below.

  3. Replace placeholder secrets, then restart the client if it does not reload on its own.

~/.cursor/mcp.json
{  "mcpServers": {    "gscmagic-gsc-magic": {      "command": "npx",      "args": [        "-y",        "gsc-magic-mcp@0.1.0"      ],      "env": {        "GSC_MAGIC_MODE": "readonly",        "GSC_MAGIC_TOOLSETS": "gsc,bing,indexnow,cwv,reports",        "GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS": "",        "BING_API_KEY": "YOUR_BING_API_KEY",        "INDEXNOW_KEY": "YOUR_INDEXNOW_KEY",        "GOOGLE_API_KEY": "YOUR_GOOGLE_API_KEY"      }    }  }}
