Install Linear for Windsurf

Windsurf stores MCP servers in mcp_config.json under the Codeium config directory.

Add to Cursor: LinearInstall in VS Code: LinearInstall in VS Code Insiders: Linear

Needs Cursor or VS Code installed on this device. The button opens the app and asks you to confirm before it adds the server.

  1. Open ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json on macOS, %USERPROFILE%\.codeium\windsurf\mcp_config.json on Windows, or ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json on Linux.

  2. Paste the JSON config below.

  3. Replace placeholder secrets, then restart the client if it does not reload on its own.
