Install readfetch for Cursor

Cursor reads ~/.cursor/mcp.json. A project can also commit .cursor/mcp.json.

Needs Cursor or VS Code installed on this device. The button opens the app and asks you to confirm before it adds the server.

  1. Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json on macOS, %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\mcp.json on Windows, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json on Linux.

  2. Paste the JSON config below.

  3. Replace placeholder secrets, then restart the client if it does not reload on its own.

~/.cursor/mcp.json
{  "mcpServers": {    "readfetch-mcp-x402-proxy": {      "command": "npx",      "args": [        "-y",        "@readfetch/mcp-x402-proxy@0.1.17"      ],      "env": {        "EVM_PRIVATE_KEY": "YOUR_EVM_PRIVATE_KEY",        "READFETCH_MAX_PAYMENT_USD": "",        "READFETCH_MCP_URL": "",        "READFETCH_DEV": ""      }    }  }}
