How MCPpedia ranks servers

Search results and "best" pages order servers by a published trust score. There is no paid boost in this version. Featured slots exist, and an admin has to set them by hand; they are labeled and they do not change the score itself.

The score adds points for an active registry record, an OSI license, recent commits or releases, stars and weekly downloads, a real summary and tool list, and a pinned HTTPS install. The methodology page lists every weight.

New registry records land in review unless an admin turns on automatic publishing. That switch only publishes records that already have an install method and a short summary, or a clearer popularity bar: stars, a license, and a README.
